Applications and Uses
- R22 or HCFC-22 has been used as a refrigerant in various refrigeration, industrial cooling, air-conditioning and heating applications across a wide range of temperatures for over five decades.
- R22 is an HCFC refrigerant and is now being phased out under European legislation. For existing installations, R22 remains available for service purposes until 2010.
