Features and Benefits
- Venting or leaking refrigerants to the atmosphere damages the environment; this has prompted tighter legislation regarding the containment of refrigerant. In July 2005 refrigerant gases were classed as hazardous waste and must only be recovered by businesses whose premises are registered with the Environment Agency (EA). All refrigerant gases must recovered and disposed of by authorised, licensed waste facilities. Special consignment notes are now required before any movement of waste.
- BOC has a fully-licensed and compliant recovery and reclaim operation second to none in the UK, with many operational advantages.
- We can dispose of refrigerant in every package size, from small cylinders to drums and tankers, and have a UK-wide delivery and collect service, with over 70 trade outlets. We also provide a hassle-free administration service when it comes to the consignment note requirements.
