Titanium MIG WireThere are a number of different titanium alloys but not all grades have MIG wires available. Because of the reactive nature of titanium to most forms of external contamination care and control of the titanium MIG wire is fundamentally important. Moisture, oil, grease and dirt on the wire can lead to porosity problems in the weld metal. Wires must therefore be kept covered during welding and stored away in a controlled manner when welding is completed.
